Leadership UX/UI Design System

Principal AM Design System

Redesigning a website requires agility to adapt and learn quickly; thus, we needed a design system to support our team and ensure our client’s ongoing success with their web properties.

Making it happen

Leveraging learnings from the my audit—I dove into the world of systems researching; methodologies, architecture, usability and how we could utilize Figma’s latest feature set to enhance our team’s experience.

Learn from others mistakes, don’t make them ourselves.

We aimed to include all roles—copy and content strategy—in our system library, guaranteeing our personality resonated throughout the business.

A system is not just about structure; it’s making sure everyone buys into it’s purpose and value.

What we made

A set of standards allowing PrincipalAM’s internal creative to efficiently manage design at scale for UX/UI designers—they ended up duplicating our system to manage the consumer brand.
